The gentle silicone-free, sulfate-free formula is safe even for damaged, dry tresses, with no harsh parabens or phthalates. Slip modifiers protect strands from the tangles that can occur when you comb hair when wet, while surfectants shield hair from environmental damage. The formula is infused with healthy hair molecules so you can go longer between shampoos without sacrificing a squeaky-clean feel. Conditioning esters and film formers penetrate deep into the hair to keep strands stronger and shinier. A chelating agent binds with and removes copper, iron and other minerals found in hard water. These deposits can fade your hair’s color and dull its shine. For best results, apply this product to wet hair and work into a lather. Rinse completely and follow with the brand’s Color Care Conditioner. Ideally, you should begin using this product the first type you wash your hair after a fresh dye job.
