Excellent shave cream. I use just a little on my brush produces a superior amount of silky slick cream. Provides a very smooth shave. I'm not sure about the scent, and it's hard for me to describe other than a very slight soapy scent that dissipates quickly. That said it is not off putting, just not my favorite...overall this is one of the best and should last a long time, making it a very good value
