My hair is really light blonde but not quite white and it's hard to keep to yellow color out of it. I've tried other purple shampoos but they gave my hair a blue tint. But this one is perfect. It keeps the yellow brassiness out and keeps it bright and blonde without turing it blue. I LOVE it and if you have really light blonde hair this is the perfect product.

Was happy to find the trial size set, very reasonably priced and the opportunity to try several different products. To really help taking the brassy from the highlights on my long coarse dark hair, which usually turns orangish on the roots, I had to leave it in at least for 15 mins... I use the generic clairol purple shampoo that also conditions, but i was looking for a purple mask or leave in since I try to space around 4 days to shampoo my hair. It is already damagrd from so may highlights, so I try to avoid stripping the hair from natural oils too often. This product does a good job as long as the strand is highlighted enough. It can even turn graish purple if you leave for long in a strand that is very light. However my hair is dark brown and in the spots that didnt highlighted well and just turned darker orange, tjis product wasnt of much help. It is moisturizing enough, to prevent the dryness that purple products usually cause, but dont expect results of a conditioning mask per se.
