i thought it was a leave in and leave on product but turns out it's not and needs to be rinsed out and off, prob bc it has alcohol as a main ingredient. use as directed and it works beautifully as a balm, actually like a mask, but personally can't deal with showering again after applications and wait time, except for very occasionally.
